    Great looking skin with Jojoba oil

    This is a collaborative post with Eden’s Semilla. I am what I like to call a serial skin care buyer; I will try almost anything to give me youthful clear skin. Most of the time I am really disappointed with the results and annoyed that I have spent so much on a product. So when I was asked recently by Eden’s Semilla if I would like to try their Jojoba oil I was intrigued to see if this would be the product that actually worked and gave me the results I longed for. I had never heard of Jojoba oil so before I put any of it on my skin…

    Finding your friends

    This may seem a little bit of a cheesy post , but I have recently sat and thought about who my true  friends are.  When your at school all you want is to have lots of friends to be the popular one in your circle of friends . To be accepted , this can be such a hard time in your life . For me it really was I didn’t find it easy . My parents being strict compared to my friends parents meant I missed out on party’s or gatherings . I do now understand that they were just protecting me from things that may happen and some things…

    The first tooth

    Over the last week or so Ava has been a little off . We put that down to the heat as it has been really warm.Not did we think she maybe cutting her first tooth!. She has had such bad nappy rash the poor thing, to the point where I think I have used a whole tub of cream in a week. Her horrid nappies weren’t  exactly helping her nappy rash. We also had the ;

    Bottle cleaning made easy ! Review and giveaway

    One of the jobs I hate doing the most is cleaning Ava’s bottle . I get really anal about how clean they are so it takes me forever to get them looking sparking . I was recently approached by Nimble babies who have produced a product to make the cleaning of bottles easier . They suggested that it would cut down on the time it takes to get your bottles clean with just a few sprays of their milk buster spray. The milk buster works by detaching milk fat and proteins from plastic . This means that your bottles no longer look cloudy or even smelly. Nimble babies milk buster…

    My Nutribuddy results

    Most new moms I know there goal for after having a baby is loosing that baby weight or just simply fitting into your pre pregnancy clothes. So when I was asked by Nutribuddy to try their meal replacement shakes I was excited to give it a try . I have now been using the shakes for two weeks and wanted to share with you my experience.  My first shake I tried with water and really didn’t like the taste or consistency . So then I went on and tried it with milk and it tasted really nice . It was a great addition to my morning routine as I was…

    My first birthday as mommy

    I have just celebrated my first birthday as a mommy and unlike most years I didn’t think about it until literally a few days before hand. Normally I would be thinking about all the things I may ask for ( I’m not all about the taking honest !). This time last year I had what was meant to be my 12 week scan when actually it was a  16 week scan ( maths was never my strong point ) !. I though that this was the best present I could of ever asked for . This year I didn’t have the excitement of going for my very first scan but I did have my…

    All you do is play all day- yer right !!

    For as long as I can remember I always wanted to work with children. I can remember being about 9 or 10 and going round my moms friends house who was a child minder and helping her with the children. So as soon as I realised college was the way to go I knew straight away what course I wanted to do. I worked my little butt of doing my BTEC in childcare and came out with a triple distinction which to this day I am still very proud of. Being newly qualified it can be hard to find a job In any sector. So I signed up to a…

    Our weaning journey with Organix continues

    As you may have seen in a previous post at Easter we teamed up with Organix to make some cute Easter bunnies using Organix products . Not that we got as far as making them. Ava isn’t much of a morning person when it comes to food but I thought I would give the multi-grain mini cereal puffs ago . As expected first thing in the morning she wasn’t to keen and I don’t blame her I’m not a breakfast person either. I did try her again at lunch time and she loved it . It took her a little bit to get used to the texture of them but after that…

    Having a baby , what do I actually need to buy ?

    When I found out I was having a baby i was so excited and couldn’t wait to start buying everything . When looking through articles it seemed that you needed so much and I guess you do but remember most of these things are written by big companies that sell baby products . It can be an expensive time but like most moms will tell you , most of things you buy or are told to buy you will hardly ever use . I like to think of myself as being pretty organised so once we had our 20 week scan I started to research into what we needed and…
