Making your home feel like a home can be hard. I remember being in our house a good few years before I was happy with how it looked. Before I really felt like it was a home . Adding things like family photos really helped. But simply finding my style and getting all the decorative bits I wanted made the difference. You need to remember that what others may like may not be what you like . So make sure to keep true to yourself then things will start to feel more like home.
Adding your personality into your home is important. I was recently introduced to the uncommon Goods website and wow was I impressed with it . The variety of different pieces is great from decorative pieces to mats and rugs . So I thought I would do my top 5 things I would have from their website.
Now there is no such things as too many candles in my book . There is nothing better than curling up on the sofa of an evening once Ava have finally gone to sleep and watch some telly via candlelight. We have lots of candles in our front room and I personally think it makes the room all snug and homely.

Mason Jar Herb Garden
Now I’m really not green fingered at all but I think these just look awesome. I really like the thought of having fresh flowers and herbs in my house . I have just never really done it . I think if I had a space to hang these jars and made it a feature it would really spur me on. Why not bring the garden indoors.
His and Hers key holder
These are both funky and really handy . I’m that person who walks in the house throws their keys and then cannot find them the next day . So something like this would be perfect. Even when they are not being used they are appealing and are different to your usual keys holder.
Every parent will understand this clock . When I first had Ava I was adamant I wasn’t going to be the parent that’s always late . As time is going on .I’m getting more and more laid back about it and think whatever who ever I’m meeting will wait for me . Sorry !
