Must-have items for time-poor mums

This is a collaborative post

As we all say, ‘There’s just not enough hours in the day!’, and as a new mum you’ll identify with this saying more than ever before. For most, any gadget that promises time-saving potential is welcomed with open arms.
If you’re expecting a little one or are looking for ways to create an extra few minutes here and there, read on for the latest time-saving items for parents

Being overdue yes it's all worth it but gosh it's annoying

Toy bag
Watching your little one develop and play with their toys is a wonderful time, but when you have to clean up afterwards it can be a chore that you could do without. If you’re tired of wasting time picking up after your little ones have played, it’s time to invest in a toy storage bag.
These bags can be purchased from many retailers, both on and offline — including Amazon. The magic of these bags lies in the design — they work by holding all of your children’s toys in one drawstring bag. When they want to play with them, simply loosen the drawstring and the bag transforms into a play mat, meaning your children can play without scattering their toys across the room. Voila — your tidy time is reduced!

Tommee Tippee’s Perfect Prep Machine
As a new parent, every minute of sleep is precious. When your baby is crying for a feed at 2am, instead of spending valuable sleeping time sterilising and making up bottles, Tommee Tippee’s Perfect Prep Machine can help you prepare your baby’s formula in just two minutes!
The machines are available now in many retailers, such as Argos, and are an essential for those night feeds. The gadget has a built-in filter to remove impurities from water, whilst the initial hot shot kills any bacteria that might be present in the formula. It works with any powered milk formula, helping to prevent any bottle-making mishaps in the early hours. You’ll still need to sterilise the bottles of course, but the Perfect Prep machine works to make your to-do list a little shorter!

Mamaroo Infant Seat
Sometimes when your baby won’t settle, a drive in the car does the trick and sends them off to sleep. But setting up the car seat and driving round the block a few times can be tiresome. Instead, invest in the Mamaroo Infant Seat, which can get your little one off to sleep quickly.
When your baby is in the Mamaroo, you can choose from five settings to get your baby off to sleep – car ride, kangaroo, tree swing, rock-a-bye and ocean. Each motion mimics parental movement, so they can get back to sleep easily. The seat is available to buy from Mothercare and other good childcare retailers.

Thermometer Dummy
Although necessary, it can be difficult to read your baby’s temperature with a traditional thermometer when they are wriggling around. A smart dummy could be the answer to your prayers here.
The name of the device says it all – this gadget is a dummy with a built-in thermometer. Some even have a built-in fever alarm which will sound if your baby’s temperature gets too high.
