    I have grown some lady balls and booked to go to a blogging conference 

    One of my blogging goals for 2017 is to attend a blogging conference . To be honest I didn’t think I was going to complete this goal . Thankfully Faye from Glossytots had to same goal and we are going to embrace the scary world of blogging conference together . On the surface I may seem a pretty confident person . Which I normally am in situations I am comfortable in , but doing something out of my comfort zone I turn into a nervous wreck .     Do we need to teach our children to share all the time ? 

    Yesterday I went to play group with Ava and I was watching some of the other parents and children interacting. The amount of times I heard parents say you need to share was untrue, but do children need to share all the time. From a young age we as parents try to install certain traits that society deems as acceptable. The main one is that we should share with others. I understand the concept of sharing and most of the time I think yes we do need to teach our children to share but not all of the time. As we get into adult life we don’t share our things…

    Before I go and tell you about how much I enjoyed this book I thought I would tell you a little about forest school.     you will find it so easy !!

    You will find it so easy!! was the phrase I heard the most when talking to people about being a parent. I have worked in childcare now for around 6 years, but before that I helped at my dance school with the little ones, so I have had a lot to do with children. So people made the assumption that I would find being a parent a walk in the park. What I think people forgot to think about is that I had never taken a child home, had to do night feeds, knowing when to up their milk or just generally looking after a child that is my own.…

    being a mom and a student

    I remember when I started university I was adamant I was going to wait till I had finished the course to have children as I did that and worked full time. well it didn’t go to plan !! As I had to have a C-section my return to university was a lot later than I wanted giving me 5 weeks to learn the subject area and write an assignment on it !!( stressed is the word).There has been times when I’m writing my assignment on a really good flow then Ava decides to have the biggest break down ever ( almost as if the world is going to end)  settle her down look…
