What to watch on Netflix January 2020

Over the recent months I have found myself watching more and more programmes on Netflix. Netflix has so many different programmes to choose from . Which is perfect as what I want to watch changes depending on what mood I’m in . There are also a range of programmes that look amazing on thx certified 4K display TVs which is something I know Jordan appreciates.

What to watch on Netflix January 2020

I thought I would share with you some of the programmes I have enjoyed watching recently . It’s a very Random bunch of programmes but each one I really like for different reason.

What I’m watching on Netflix January 2020

Shooter

Like a lot of things on Netflix were behind the times with Shooter the first season came out in 2016. Basically in a nutshell Shooter is based around an ex-Marine sniper that gets himself into a situation. He was framed for a high profile murder. Throughout the three seasons Bob-Lee finds himself in the middle of some very serious and dangerous situations. Not only does he find himself in these situations his wife and their daughter get caught up in it to.

I personally loved the first two seasons and found the last one a bit harder to watch. Mainly because I dont think it had the action packed scenes that the other two seasons had.

Shooter keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. I really enjoy this type of programme as it’s something that doesnt really require you to think. You just need to watch and enjoy.

The good place

This also aired in 2016 and has 4 seasons on Netflix with new episodes uploaded weekly.

The good place is about the afterlife. I know what your thinking it doesnt sound very intereting. well it actually is Eleanor one of the main characters in the programme finds herself in ‘ the good place’. Where all the good people on earth are sent to once they die. The only problem is Eleanor isnt exactly the best person she did some undesirable things on earth. Whilst in ‘the good place’ Eleanor tires to better herself. However there are many twist and turns along the way that change her path and also bring new things to light.

I’m not going to spoil it as I didn’t see the plot coming myself so I dont want to say too much.

The good place really made me chuckle with lots of humour throughout. It’s an easy watch and at 22 minuites an episode it’s something you can throw on and have a cup of tea before you continue on with your day.

How to get away with murder

This is a programme that I have seen so many people talk about. Again this is one that’s been on for a while in fact it was first aired in 2014. It’s full of twist and turn and the unexpected. Based on a law professor Annalise Keating and her five students that become involved in a murder.

What I like about this programme is that it keeps you on your toes. You start to think one thing and then something else is thrown at you. I’m still working my way through this one but I’m finding it a really good watch. Just something I’m not really able to watch around the children.

You

The long awaited second season of You is now on Netflix and so far I’m loving it. Joe is back and is up to his old tricks again. Although his trying to be less obsessive, he still transfixes himself on the people in his life. I feel like this one is going to go in a different direction as Love Joe’s love interest seems to have a bit of a dark side herself. So will have to see what happens . Again this is one we cannot really watch around the kids so it’s something we have to watch once they are in bed. Which a lot of the time isnt until late as they have taken to messing around at bed time.

I really recognise the actress who plays Love but I just cannot put my finger on where I know her from so if someone knows what else she’s been in then let me know.

So these are the 4 main things I’m enjoying on Netflix January 2020 . Netflix is my go to thing to put on now. Mainly because there is no ad breaks and I can watch a season in one go. When I say one go I mean interrupted by one of the kids asking for a snack. The kids are lovers of Netflix also so if you would me to share with you their favourite things to watch on Netflix then let me know.
