    why is sensory play so important for babies ?

    Sensory play is so important for little ones development it’s how they learn about the world around them. You are more than likely doing sensory play at home and not really realising. Using simple things like tin foil or shakers are a really good sensory experiences for children.     Why buy cards when you can make them ! 

    If you’re a regular reader of my blog you will be aware that before going on maternity leave I was a nursery manager . I have worked with children since I left school. I have found I have taken a lot of what I did at work into my new role as being a mommy . Especially when comes to making cards. When at nursery we would make cards for every occasions .     Yesterday we were very kindly asked to go to the launch of Hartbeeps in Telford. For those of you that don’t know Hartbeeps is an award winning multi-sensory class for children right from birth. Many of you will know how hard it is to get out of the house with one child, well yesterday me and my friend thought it would be a good idea to take three children to the Hartbeeps class.     Nutty Putty review and giveaway !

    Today I got to be a little kid again and make things using rollers, cutters using Nutty Putty. When I was little I loved to make creations out of salt dough but I remember it taking for ever to bake and then most of the time it would crack and fall apart !!( so soul destroying after making the masterpiece for hours !!).     Today we got messy

    We are really lucky that just down the road from our house is an arts and crafts shop that offers a place for you to take your children to get creative. You can do anything from sticking and painting at your table to pottery. A plus side of Codsall Hive is the yummy food and drink they have to offer, making it a perfect place to come and meet your friends and also entertain the kids ( bonus !).
