Dunmer Bluetooth headset review
Some of you may have recently seen that I had reviewed Mpow’s Magneto Bluetooth headset. Well these didn’t stay mine for very long as my partner claimed them for himself. Luckily I was asked if I would like to review another headset from their range. This time I am going to review their Dunmer Bluetooth headset . The first thing I noticed about these ear phones is the amount of different attachments that come with them . It comes with multiple different ear tips and also ear hooks to secure them in place. It great to see that a company has noticed that everyone is different and not one size fits…

You have made the decision your little one is starting nursery . You have chosen your nursery you want them to go to . But I’m guessing you still feel nervous . I haven’t yet experienced this as a parent but have been involved with settling a child into nursery with my job . You drop them off to nursery and they may cry . My biggest piece of advise is leave them don’t hang around . You are just prolonging it for them . I’m sure if you ask the staff to call you . They will call you and let you know how they are getting on. I have…

Why is my baby blue around the mouth ?
When Ava was very little we started to notice she had a blue ring around her mouth, I started to worry I mean why is my baby blue around the mouth surely it’s not normal . Maybe she was cold ? After speaking to my health visitor she assured me it was nothing to worry about . That in fact the blue ring around her mouth was due to her having wind . How right she was . We found that if we got her to bring her wind up then the blue ring would go . Don’t get me wrong we did wind her during feeds but she must…

school holidays mean nothing to me !
Working in a nursery now for many years, I worked towards each half term counting down the days till I could have a few days off, or work at the holiday club that the nursery ran. Many parents had said to me that school holidays can be such hard work as everywhere is manic. I have known parents go to a soft play areas with their child and be turned away as it was too busy. My maternity leave started and I didn’t think about how many days till the next school holiday. If I’m honest most days I wouldn’t have even been able to tell you what day it was as…

Eating out highchair hell
Going out for a meal can be a nightmare, you have to make sure you pack enough things to keep your little one entertained. If they don’t eat off the main menu then you have to pack a lunchbox full of appealing things for them to eat. Then there is the great discussion of where shall we eat where will be good to take children. Will there be enough space to take the pushchair in if she needs asleep. This is all before the drama of a highchair starts. I have recently been in talks with Totseat who have done a survey of 109 restaurants that are deemed to be family…

Finding your friends
This may seem a little bit of a cheesy post , but I have recently sat and thought about who my true friends are. When your at school all you want is to have lots of friends to be the popular one in your circle of friends . To be accepted , this can be such a hard time in your life . For me it really was I didn’t find it easy . My parents being strict compared to my friends parents meant I missed out on party’s or gatherings . I do now understand that they were just protecting me from things that may happen and some things…

Over the last week or so Ava has been a little off . We put that down to the heat as it has been really warm.Not did we think she maybe cutting her first tooth!. She has had such bad nappy rash the poor thing, to the point where I think I have used a whole tub of cream in a week. Her horrid nappies weren’t exactly helping her nappy rash. We also had the ;

My first shake I tried with water and really didn’t like the taste or consistency . So then I went on and tried it with milk and it tasted really nice . It was a great addition to my morning routine as I was…

My first birthday as mommy
I have just celebrated my first birthday as a mommy and unlike most years I didn’t think about it until literally a few days before hand. Normally I would be thinking about all the things I may ask for ( I’m not all about the taking honest !). This time last year I had what was meant to be my 12 week scan when actually it was a 16 week scan ( maths was never my strong point ) !. I though that this was the best present I could of ever asked for . This year I didn’t have the excitement of going for my very first scan but I did have my…
