Guardianfix 3 from Kiddy : review
For the past few weeks now we have been trying out the Guardianfix 3 from Kiddy . This is like no car seat we have ever used before as it has a safety shield and not a harness. so it has taken Ava some time to get used to it. Safety features Now when I first saw these car seats I was intrigued by the safety shield aspect. I had a look into how safe this car seat was. As you can never be too careful when it comes to the safety of your child. The Guardianfix 3 complies with all the latest safety standards for infant and children’s car…

Baby bottles now there are loads of different ones on the market these days. Which one do you go for it can be so confusing and all you want to do is do right by your little one. Well the last couple of weeks we have been trying out the Twistshake anti colic bottle. We haven’t used this bottle with Alby before . So i was a little concerned he wouldn’t take to it as its a little different to his normal bottle. But we had no problems at all Alby drank from his Twistshake bottle like he would his normal bottle. In fact we have been finding with his…

updating my wardrobe and my look with look of the day ( LOTD)
Now I very rarely buy myself new clothes. Some of my clothes I have had in my wardrobe for years. Now I have had Alby and I’m getting to the weight I’m happy with . I am ditching the old tried clothes and giving my wardrobe a make over. I need practical clothes for everyday that aren’t boring and mummy something that looks nice and I feel nice wearing. The guys over at Look Of The Day (LOTD) have very kindly given me some money to spend on their website. To give me the kick-start I needed. Now LOTD isn’t a site I have brought from before now so I…

BabyBjörn toilet training seat : review
For the last 6 months now Ava has been showing interest in potty training on and off. She will happily sit on the potty but wasn’t too keen on the toilet . Then recently she started to want to go on the toilet but I feared she would fall in and this would totally put her off . Thankfully we have been sent the BabyBjörn toilet training seat to review. The BabyBjörn toilet training seat is really lightweight meaning that Ava can put it on . And take it back off by herself with ease. The toilet seat itself is made from BPA free Plastic, that is easily cleaned. The…

BabyBjörn baby carrier one review
When I was pregnant with my second I didn’t really think about the practicalities of going places with two children. Ava is only just two so she does like to walk places but gets tired very quickly. It wasn’t until Alby was here and I thought about taking the two of them out that I thought how the hell am I going to do this. ? Thankfully I have recently been sent the BabyBjörn baby carrier one to review. I think one of the most important things with a carrier is how comfy is it. I have had many different carriers with Ava and to be honest I found none…

Cute Nico changing backpack : review
I had completely forgotten how much you have to carry around with you when you have a baby . I know I’m an over packer but gosh don’t babies need a lot of stuff . My old changing bag was full even before adding Alby’s stuff in . Thankfully the lovely people over at Cute Nico have sent me their Cute Nico changing backpack to try. One reason why I haven’t had a new changing bag for Alby is because I found all the bags to be pretty girly . Yes I’m a woman carrying it around but I didn’t want it to be overly girly . I was looking…

Knuma Huddle making those early baby days easier
You may have seen a few months ago we did a first impressions post for the Knuma Huddle. We have now been using our Huddle for nearly a month and I’m so in love with it. You may have seen that I had to have an emergency section again . So moving around was pretty painful in the early days. This meant bending over was pretty painful so thank god I didn’t have a Moses basket. The Huddle made those night feeds so much easier. I could simply unzip the side and Alby was within reach . No bending involved. We have also found unlike Ava , Alby likes to…

Good Bubble bath products : review
As you may have guessed by now we love bath time in our house. Although in my later stages of pregnancy I found it hard to bathe Ava .So she hasn’t had that many baths recently. Don’t worry she has been having showers instead ! Now that I’m no longer pregnant bath time has come back and Ava is loving having a bath with Alby. Recently we have been sent some Good Bubble products to try . I have brought many a bath products in the past based on how nice they smell. Only to get them home and use them and to be disappointed with how well the…

Peppa Pig interactive playmat: Review
Ava is still very much a Peppa Pig fan. So our latest review item went down a storm. I’m sure she can sense anything Peppa Pig from a mile away as she got very excited when the post man came the other day. Normally she isn’t too fussed by him. but when he knocked she ran straight to the door. This week we have been trying out the Peppa Pig interactive playmat. The Peppa pig interactive playmat has four fun modes. These four modes can help your little one learn things like numbers and colour recognition. Along with developing their hand eye co-ordination it also builds communication and vocabulary skills.…

JORD wood watches Frankie 35- Dark Sandalwood And slate : review
You may have seen that last year we were very kindly asked by JORD watches if we would like to review a watch from their men’s range. Of course Jordan was overjoyed and I was pretty jealous. Well like they say good things come to those that wait. As a few weeks ago I had a email from the lovely people at JORD to see if I would like a watch to review from their woman’s range. This watch would be probably the first thing I have had for myself in a long time . I cannot remember the last proper treat I had. So of course within moments I…

Christmas stickers with StickerApp review and giveaway
You may have seen In the past I have collaborated with a company called Caseapp. CaseApp products amazing personalised phone cases and skins. Well they recently contacted me to say they have a sister company called StickerApp. As the name suggests they make stickers. With Christmas on the way I though these would come in very handy when wrapping up people’s presents. I could literally spend hours on their website playing around with different designs and looking through all the pre made ones they have to offer. This time around I went for the pre made Christmas ones as they were just too cute and I couldn’t resist. You can if…

Treat your dog this Christmas with some Webbox treats
Christmas is a time of year when gifts are exchanged but make sure you don’t forget the dog . We have been a bit rubbish the last couple of years with remembering the dog . Mainly due to me being very heavily pregnant and then having a nearly 1-year-old to contend with . So this year thanks to Webbox Kya is being well and truly spoilt.

Toddlebike2 review : take a look at what we thought and how we got on
We were recently asked if we would like to review the Toddlebike2 . I showed pictures of the bikes to Ava to which her response was WOW. So that kind of answered the question for me. I have been looking for a balance bike for Ava for a while now. I have come across many different designs but a lot of them either looked to heavy and bulky or I didn’t think she was going to be able to balance effectively on them. So after doing a little Goggle of Toddlebike2 I could see that it was the bike I was looking for lightweight and stable. I had an email…

BubbleBum booster seat : review and giveaway
We have teamed up with the lovely Faye from Glossytots to bring you a review of the BubbleBum car seat . Me and Faye quite often go out and about with the girls so having a spare booster seat for Erin is very handy. The BubbleBum car seat is a clever little space saver seat meaning I can deflate it when not in use and pop it in my boot ready for our next adventure. It’s also great for when I have two car seats in the back of my car. As the narrow design is perfect for fitting between the two car seats. To inflate the seat…

Diono Quantum travel system review
A pushchair isn’t just a pushchair anymore it needs to be so much more . Gone are the days of big bulky travel systems. In are the days of clever pushchairs that flatten down to nothing just like the Diono Quantum. We have been testing the Diono Quantum over the last few weeks and have been very impressed . I’m going to be honest it’s not a brand I had heard of before. But after doing some research into the company I could see they are a brand passionate about making life for parents that little bit easier. So the Diono Quantum where to start there are a lot of positives…
